A person, estate, or trust that you, as a plan participant, designate to receive NQDC payments in case of your death. Under some plans, your spouse or estate is automatically considered your beneficiary if you did not designate a beneficiary, or if all of your designated beneficiaries are already deceased at the time of your death.
