Abbreviation denoting two different types of taxpayer identification numbers: either the Federal Taxpayer Identification Number, another name for the US Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN); or the Foreign Taxpayer Identification Number, used by a country other than the US to identify individuals or entities for tax purposes.
